THE NEWS ABOUT FREEDOM OF FAITH ISSUES IS POPPING!

The free expression of faith issues is popping up all over the news. For example:

The Supreme Court voted 5 to 4 to allow a public meeting in Greece, NY to begin with prayer.  This is a big decision that impacts many public meetings across the nation.  I remember leading the opening prayer time at the DuPage County (Illinois) Board meetings for years.  It was an honor to begin the meeting by focusing the members on their duty to serve the citizens of the county and their God in a responsible and honorable manner.  I was often told by members that such prayers were important to get them started with the right attitude and motivation.  I was fully aware that it was a diverse group of people from many faith communities, but it is still important to focus on our Creator when attempting to represent an entire community in a governing session.  Prayer is a great way to do that.

A teacher in Florida objected to a grade school student reading the Bible during a free reading period.  The child had received the Bible as a gift and was anxious to read from it, so he brought it to school to read during the designated time frame.  Her comments reflected a definite bias against the child's faith.  Don't be surprised by the increase in hostility.  It is being actively promoted by our federal government in the schools and in the military.  Schools are the federal government's drones in their war on faith.  That is why we must maintain local control of our school systems.

HGTV, which my wife and I love to watch, is showing their bias against people of faith by dropping a show led by David D. Benham and Jason B. Benham because of their stance for family, marriage, and life.  The show is called "Flip It Forward".  The Iron Boot of the Thought Police stomped all over the show because the Benhams were open about their beliefs.  So much for freedom of faith at HGTV.  We just went through this horror show with Duck Dynasty and Phil Robertson.

Friends, it's time for a new FREE SPEECH MOVEMENT in America.
